The free exercise thereof is in the Constitution. The separation of church and state is not. The separation of church and state has been so perverted by the media and left wing judges that even x-communist states have better religious freedom than we do. I am going to tear up my Home Depot card and send it to the Home Depot Corporate Headquarters. I would advise everyone else to do the same thing. I would also advise people at Lowe's to have their people wear similar pins to gain customers.

Well, with everyone losing jobs, and the rising bills coming all over, they won't be getting their payout from anyone. I'm glad they're going under.

Obama has a right to his opinion, and stating it isn't censorship in any way, shape, or form.

--

But, he does not have the right as national leader to tell people that a public news outlet isn't a news outlet, because they say things about him that he does not like. Especially when other news outlets do similar things, and he doesn't treat them the same way. Plus, as President he has to hold himself accountable. Or, do you not think so?

If they make their illegal immigrants become legal immigrants, they will not be offended. Now the illegals want to control the US Citizens.

--

Why not? Everyone else wants to control our citizens. By the way, citizen isn't capitalized. Why? Because it's a right, not a badge to insult others.

You're correct, though. Criminals shouldn't get a free shot at becoming citizens. I say, they want citizenship so bad, ship them back and let them do it fair and square. The President shouldn't be rewarding criminal behavior. I don't care how many thuggish minority unions helped get him elected.

Reality television is a travesty. They are not only fake but they ruin relationships and that can in no way be good. As viewers we want to see them act crazy and wild. If they ever find the time to act normal we tune them out or switch the channel so as it is a business they play on what we the viewers want to see. It is insipid and I hope the trend will change one day where normal people with successful relationships can show us the real way, no scripts, no aim to make money.

--

Well, this Jon Gosselin vs TLC Network thing is the first time I can remember when a network is losing viewers, and facing investigation for violating the law, and still wants to air the show. You'd think at least someone high up within TLC would see this as a dangerous environment that risks alienating everyone who watches their channel.

Only goes to prove no reality television can be "real" in any way. Real life isn't consistently interesting to network executives and television groupies.

Hi,

I just visited your blog at "http://seethirty.wordpress.com/2008/07/23/heysatellite-tv-dish-network/" and found an interesting one for content link exchange with my website and blogs. As your blog is relevant with mine so it would beneficial for both of us and in this way we can also increase our back links. If you also find it suitable then please let me know at- ami.roberts86@gmail.com

Thanks,

This is the *SECOND* comment I have gotten on an "oldish" post, and they seem to be identical. I'm approving these posts, because it appears to be some kind of scam. Anyone looking at them, notice the similarity. Both are asked to provide links to their own site. Neither is willing to do so. Be wary.

>>Anyone think his parents should shoulder the blame for any of this?<<

Yes, and I believe the boy should be punished. But Reform School?

He'd be eaten alive!

--

That's the point. The fear of results used to be what kept people in line. His mother, in her stupidity, has now shown him that when he doesn't like the rules, he doesn't have to follow them. And, when he gets caught breaking them, she might be able to whine, and get his punishment reduced or overturned. Bad idea. This is not the kind of case where offenders need to be let off. Weapons are dangerous. Worst case scenario, this boy has not learned the right lesson, and carries his mother's interference with him into the future, expecting her to excuse every mistake for him. This is the problem with modern society. No one is responsible for anything they do. Lawyers lie for them. Advocates whine about "profiling". And people throw tantrums in front of news crews. All the while, society slips further from accountability. Would you want your kid learning that kind of lesson? I sure wouldn't.

It seems that those that are fighting war from their Washington approval and purchase desk have forgotten or in many cases have never been in 'real' combat situations.

War is a dirty and muddy job. Keeping a finicky weapon like the M4 operating properly is not an easy task when you are fighting for your life in a fire fight and doing this while your are in a sand storm or monsoon rain storm!

Every American soldier is a true Hero and deserves only the best and most reliable weapons money can buy.

--

I think the most currently "reliable" weapons in existence include the Kalashnikov platform (inexpensive), and those made by Heckler and Koch (expensive). Actually, FN isn't all that bad, either. But, yeah, there are clear and obvious problems with the M4 Carbine in use. The Pentagon needs to stop lying and start correcting.
