The F.D.A. (Food & Drug Administration) is set to ‘ban’ the sale of raw oysters from the Gulf Coast as food items, unless they’re treated in a manner which many experts conclude alters or destroys their unique taste.

Researchers from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine have conducted a ’study’ that claims they found no nutritional or health benefits to eating ‘organic’ food, as opposed to ‘ordinary’ food. The researchers stated that consumers were paying higher prices for organic-labeled foods because of a perceived health benefit, creating a global organic market [...]

I have been looking for ‘Pepsi’ and ‘Mountain Dew’ versions of Throwback for weeks. Not finding anything, I go to the web. Here, I find out they are officially only doing this for a limited distribution. What that means, is a few weeks, not everywhere.

Some are invented by con-artists who will sell you “special” food plans for ludicrous amounts of money. Some will even insist that for the diet to “work”, [...]

Subway’s “Take-Out Menu” has a wonderful selection of items. It goes into naming some of their sandwiches, reminding you that you can get them as a salad or a wrap, even telling you about some of the breads and ingredients that go into their sandwiches.
However, anyone who has been inside a Subway, knows that there [...]

I’ve been patient. I’ve given them every opportunity to make my mouth happy. But, my mouth isn’t happy. It’s not happy one tiny bit. Here’s why. Just as I usually do, I ordered one of their sandwiches. In this instance, the ‘Steak and Cheese’. The photos looked inviting, as they usually do, and as is [...]
